I can help you integrate & provide mindfulness consulting, seminars and classes in southeast Wisconsin. Mindfulness seminars and classes can change your life, but what is "mindfulness" and what are the benefits?
Mindfulness and technology: Do they mix? A video from the Wisdom 2.0 conference.
Being mindful means that you are paying attention without judgment to what is occurring in that very moment. It sounds so simple yet have you ever driven somewhere and realized that you don’t remember the last mile? Have you had someone speak to you and were unable to respond because you didn’t hear a word they said? In this multitasking world it happens often.
Who is mindfulness for? Anyone from 5-105 can benefit from this practice. Mindfulness is a life skill. Integrating a mindfulness practice into daily life can improve social and emotional well being. Character traits of empathy, kindness and gratitude naturally develop too. Self compassion as well as compassion for others flourishes. Therefore, when mindfulness is integrated into all facets of life overall well being improves.
Training sessions are available for schools and adult organizations. Techniques taught will help to strengthen relationships, regulate emotions, and improve focus and concentration. Brain research will be introduced. Studies have shown that a continued practice can actually create new pathways in the brain! Practical ideas will be shared to show how you can integrate mindfulness into your life.
